Another Addiction

I recently checked out a highly-recommended Xbox 360 site to see what all the fuss was about. You've most probably heard of it, but if not go and check out what's on offer: www.360voice.com

The idea behind this is a smart one. The site keeps track of what games you play and what achievements you manage to pick up, and then writes a daily blog post about your recent playing history from the perspective of your Xbox. It's a cool idea, and it's handled really well. I've added some Javascript to this blog so that it updates with my latest 360.voice blog post.

However, it isn't really the blog that has me hooked here. The site also has a feature revolving around "badges", which work in a similar way to achievements in that they give you rewards for fufilling specific criteria. The only difference is these rewards are based on achievements, meaning that I am essentially achieving one thing in the hope of achieving something else, and that sounds perfect to me.
